Mozilla Firefox Club-VIT is the club for Mozilla Firefox open-source community enthusiasts at VIT University, Vellore, to promote Web development and Open Source Technologies in the University.
Mozilla Firefox Club VIT, one of the largest developers' communities in VIT, Vellore has been working with an aspiration of changing ideas into reality ever since its inception. With a 6 year rich history as one of the top technical clubs comprising a team of over 150+ core members, 3 mentors, and 10 as the executive board, dedicated to technically strengthening the students by integrating their skills in various fields of Engineering & Technology, so as to face the highly competitive environment. We provide a morale boosting system for the talented youth through our professional endeavors and inspire each student at VIT and beyond to follow our academic interests and goals. We have a diverse audience from over 15 countries as a part of the students we teach. Creating value through real world impact-driven projects.

This group of students specialize in the digital media world and explore their creativity in the various technical aspects of the media world.
MFC VIT boasts a wide array of successful events conducted throughout the year including speaker sessions with renowned technocrats, competitive coding events, and many more.
This event revolved around the game of Bugs and brains, a quest in which the participants would solve bugs to get questions which would bend their minds and make them think twice about their capabilities and choices.

MFC-VIT's flagship event needs no introduction ,Mozcode'21 a one of a kind competitive coding event was a huge success spanning over 3 rounds and 2 days time provided an unique opportunity to participants to test their skill in a race against time in an intense competitive atmosphere.

MFC-VIT conducted a one of a kind machine learning series spanning over three episodes where participants got to learn various machine learning algorithms along with a follow up live project demonstrations helping participants to solidify a foundation in the concepts of machine learning.

Metaverse has become the newest macro goal for tech industries to invest in and to see the world in a new perspective with the help of AR and VR technologies. MFC-VIT conducted "The Parallax View: Bring the world to wherever you are" and "The Parallax View: Experience what you see" where reputed speakers provided all explanation and clarifications to the audience regarding AR and VR technologies.

The event was a one hour long AMA session with our acclaimed speaker, Mr. Anshul Rustaggi who is founder and CEO of Zionverse and an expert in Web3 and blockchain technology. The session was an all out interactive session wherein attendees could clarify any of their doubts about web3 and cryptocurrency.
